Frequently asked questions
How do I buy Ibiza club tickets?
Pick your event in our calendar, select the date and check out securely via our official ticket partner ClubTickets. You pay the official price, with no hidden fees.
Can Ibiza club tickets sell out?
They can. Most nights keep tickets available until late, but as soon as a celebrated name is on the line-up — or it is an opening, a closing or a night in August — an event can be shut days or even weeks in advance. At that point there is nothing we can conjure up: full is full. If there is one night that genuinely cannot fail, book that one first and fill in the rest of your week afterwards.
Is it better to buy online or at the door?
Online, in almost every case. You know in advance that you are getting in, you have proof of purchase, and you are not queueing at a box office that may already have closed. Buying at the door can work fine on a quiet night, but you are then taking two risks at once: a sell-out and a higher price on the door.
What time do Ibiza clubs open and close?
Ibiza runs late: a club night only really gets going when the rest of Europe is going to bed, and carries on into the morning. Exact times differ per club, per night and per point in the season, and day clubs and beach clubs work to a completely different rhythm. The times the club itself publishes are shown on the event in our calendar — if you want certainty before you plan a taxi, just ask us on WhatsApp.
What does “entry before a certain time” on my ticket mean?
It means your ticket is only valid if you are actually inside before that moment — not if you join the queue at it. It is a discount on the early hours, and it lapses the second the clock passes; you will usually have to pay the difference to the standard rate, or the ticket simply will not get you in. So allow for the queue, the taxi ride and the friends who need "five more minutes". Turning up on the dot loses you exactly the advantage you paid for.
Is the guestlist free?
No, and we would rather say so plainly than have you standing at the door with a surprise. What a guestlist actually involves varies by club, by night and even by week of the season: sometimes a reduced rate, sometimes a condition around timing or a minimum spend, and on some nights there is no list at all. Simon tells you exactly which terms apply to your night beforehand, so you know where you stand before you confirm anything.
What happens if my boat trip is cancelled because of the weather?
It happens, even in midsummer: strong wind or a heavy swell makes certain bays unworkable, and safety comes before your day plan. The skipper or operator usually makes that call at short notice, because weather at sea turns faster than the forecast does. If a trip is cancelled we first look for an alternative day within your stay; if that is not possible, we arrange a refund of the cancelled element. Which is why we would not put a boat trip on your last morning before a flight.
How do I get back at night — is there public transport?
Yes, and it is one of the nicer things about Ibiza: through the summer months night buses run between the main towns and the club areas, including at the hours when the clubs empty out. They are cheap and reliable, but they do not serve every hamlet and the schedule changes across the season. Taxis exist, but at peak moments there is a long line and one will not simply drive past. Work out how you are getting back before you go out — that is the difference between a good night and two hours at the side of the road.
Can I cancel or refund my ticket?
As a rule, no. Club tickets are final once issued — a missed flight, changed travel plans or a hangover unfortunately do not count as grounds for a refund, and that is the clubs’ policy rather than ours. If the organiser cancels an event, you get your money back. If something goes wrong, contact us before you write it off: moving to another date is sometimes negotiable.
When is the best time to visit Ibiza?
The club season runs from the openings in late spring to the closings in autumn. Midsummer is the busiest, priciest and most extravagant stretch; the edges of the season give you the same island with fewer people, gentler prices and more room to breathe. If you want to see the biggest names, come in the peak. If you want to get to know Ibiza, just before or just after is often the better call.
